Beautifully crafted with built-in storage and paired with the best standing desk frame available, the Narrative's solid wood or birch veneered construction—your choice—creates a desk both functional and striking. Each desk measures 30" deep and is available in widths of 54", 60", 66", and 72".
Each Narrative desktop is built by hand in the great state of Michigan. The desktop ships from Michigan 3-5 weeks after ordering. Desk frames and accessories ship from Austin, Texas the same day they're ordered, if before 3pm Central.
Each desk includes integrated left and right hand drawers. Each drawer measures between 7.7" and 16.7" wide, depending on the overall desk width selected (wider desks have wider drawers).
Choose either a slim central drawer or a slide out keyboard tray. Both options measure 28" wide and are slimmer than the outer drawers to eliminate lap interference when seated with the desk lowered.
Keep your workspace neat and tidy with the cavernous cable storage space accessed via the hinged, full width door at the back of the desktop.
Construction doesn't begin on the Narrative until your order is placed. This means the desk, made just for you, will be uniquely yours. As such, all sales are final.

These stunning, wide-plank solid wood desktops feature stunning grain patterns and colors, both natural and stained. Available solid wood species are walnut, cherry, maple, hickory, and oak. Oak and maple offer multiple color options. Always environmentally conscious, we plant five new trees for every solid wood desk sold through our partnership with the National Forest Foundation.
As they’re naturally produced, solid wood desktops come with asymmetrical lines, random grain patterns, variations in color, knots, tiny hairline cracks, and other natural irregularities.

The built-in drawers are made from the same material as the rest of the desktop.
Choose a painted finish for the drawer faces to accent your Narrative Standing Desk, or stick with standard matching faces for the desk drawers. Desktop and drawer materials can't be mixed. For example, you cannot select a walnut solid wood desk with veneered drawers or vice versa.
Black and white painted drawers use a very low VOC pigmented waterborne polyurethane.
Charcoal and rainstorm painted drawers use a water based enamel with a clear, Greenguard-Gold Certified top coat.

Complete the look with a choice of four different handle options. Handles are provided with every Narrative Standing Desk; however, you can use your own handles as long as they have a 6.3" mounting hole spacing. Cast zinc with a matte black finish looks great with any color desk or drawer. Upgrade to brass, bright nickel, or dark nickel for a sleek modern design and premium feel for your standing desk with drawers.
