At UPLIFT Desk, we believe everyone deserves a workspace that empowers them to thrive. That's why we're proud to welcome Latinitas to our UPLIFT Desk Donation Program, supporting their mission to empower young Latinas through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education, cultural exploration, and self-expression.
Founded in 2002, Latinitas has evolved from a digital magazine into Austin's premier nonprofit dedicated to advancing Latina representation in technology and media education. Their comprehensive STEM programs have sparked change, inspiring girls to excel in fields where they have been historically underrepresented. Through hands-on education and mentorship, Latinitas nurtures creativity, leadership, and cultural pride—essential elements in developing the next generation of Latina leaders.
Providing ergonomic, height-adjustable workstations to the hardworking Latinitas team was an easy choice. Our collaboration with Latinitas reflects our shared goals of innovation and community empowerment. Their commitment to digital literacy and closing the opportunity gap aligns perfectly with our mission to create inclusive and inspiring workspaces. These desks are designed to enhance comfort, boost productivity, and foster a healthy work environment by adapting to individual needs. And who doesn't love to put their feet up in a foot hammock during a long work session?
The Latinitas team is now working at 60" x 30" bamboo desktops on the UPLIFT Desk V2 2-leg standing desk frame paired with the 8-Outlet Mountable Surge Protector, the Standing Desk Mat, and the always popular Motion-X Board at their work stations.
The impact of the UPLIFT Desk donation was felt immediately. The Latinitas team reported a significant boost in both work efficiency and overall well-being. Their dedication to empowering girls is boosted by a workspace that empowers them as well.
