What happened to fully.com and the Jarvis Desk?
The Jarvis Standing Desk, made by Fully, is now only available in basic configurations.
In August 2019, Knoll acquired Fully, a Portland-based e-commerce website specializing in ergonomic furniture. Fully.com offered adjustable standing desks to ergonomic chairs, all focused on home offices and small businesses. Knoll tapped into Fully's audience, expanding their reach but it didn't generate enough sales. Fast forward to July 2021: Herman Miller acquires Knoll, and MillerKnoll was born. Fully didn't make sense for MillerKnoll and they shuttered it.
With Fully.com shut down, the Fully Jarvis Standing Desk can now only be purchased at Herman Miller and Design Within Reach in limited configurations. The Jarvis desk was once an option for office workers and a competitor to UPLIFT Desk. But Fully's parent company, MillerKnoll, moved in a different direction and shuttered fully.com. Less customizable than before, the two versions of the Jarvis are now available with a bamboo or laminate desktop. As popular as the Jarvis desk is, it trails behind UPLIFT Standing Desks in key features.
