These plugs are left in acoustic holes to conceal the holes when the panels are used in ways that do not require access to them, such as wall or ceiling mounted panels. Thus we have designed the plugs to be very difficult to see. Finding the plugs to remove them takes time.
Removing plugs is necessary to attach your acoustic panels to Acoustic Privacy Panel Mounting Hardware, but the plugged holes can be difficult to locate by sight alone. This is especially noticeable when preparing multiple panels for mounting. The hole finder tool allows you to find all these plugs with ease.
Simply align the tool along the corner of a panel and press between the four molded pegs. You can then quickly see the plugs and remove them with a small tool such as a screwdriver or pencil.
